Intermediate Whitewater Kayak Technique Focused Skills Lap
We’ve all been that kayaker that blindly follows our friends into the meat of a rapid hoping to find ourselves on the other side of a sticky hole. Getting out on the water isn’t always that hard, but finding someone to help you with your skill development is a whole other story. Join us out on the water to start honing your abilities and take control of your whitewater confidence.
Mid-week blues can always be cured by kayaking with a good crew! These sessions are led by nationally recognized, ACA-certified kayak instructors. Skill sessions will vary from week to week. The goals and outcomes of the day will be discussed within the group prior to putting on the water.
Skills days include but are not limited to:
– eddy catching
– boofing
– surfing
– attaining
This class is intended for intermediate boaters with previous class II-III experience. A combat roll is not required. You must provide all of your own gear for these sessions. Please call us if you have questions about gear availability.
