Enjoy the thrill of the rapids, breathtaking scenery, and the famous Richmond skyline all in one trip! The Lower James River has something for everyone and is home to America’s only urban Class IV rapids. There’s no better way to experience the River City!
We will meet you at the Stone Brewing parking lot before shuttling up to our put-in point at Reedy Creek. You will get outfitted with helmets, PFDs, and paddles before receiving a safety briefing from the trip leader. We will tackle the Class III-IV rapids of Hollywood, Fish Ladders, and Pipeline.
Once we get off the water, we’ll shuttle you back to Stone Brewing where you can relax and grab a drink after an awesome day on the river. Make sure to also check out their Live Buena Food Trailer, which offers a fresh menu of Southern-California inspired cuisine.

If you follow the directions from the link above, you will find yourself in the Stone Brewing parking lot off of Williamsburg Rd. Look for one of the RVAPS busses which will shuttle you up to our starting point.
